Job Description

Brand New Opportunity to work alongside one of NYC's most successful PM's!


This is an ideal next step for someone who wishes to work as part of a team (utilizing all the support, resources and tools available) but also have the opportunity to independently manage capital.


Responsibilities


  • Generate new ideas on teams overall portfolio construction and trade execution
  • Collaborate with the SPM team as well as the firm's central data, technology, and trading groups to leverage firmwide resources and strengths
  • Research and deploy intraday and/or overnight signals; improve profitability through research
  • Drive and streamline processes and strategy innovation
  • Manage an intraday trading strategy in US markets


Requirements


  • Advanced STEM education from a top tier academic institution
  • Strong programming skills, excellent Python skills
  • 7+ years experience in alpha research and portfolio management
  • Passion for the hedge fund industry and portfolio management
  • Must have extensive exp in signal generation
