Job Description
Position Summary
International Financing Review, the leader in in-depth coverage of the corporate bond market, is looking for a reporter to cover the US high-yield bond markets in New York.

As a member of IFR, you’ll have unparalleled exposure to a worldwide readership on our many platforms, from real-time screens to a highly regarded weekly magazine. You’ll also have unique access to market leaders and decision-makers in the capital markets: major investors, corporate executives, top lawyers and investment bankers, and more.
The successful candidate will have a chance to join a small but experienced team that breaks news and shapes opinion.
Role Responsibilities
  • Build expertise and knowledge to broaden and deepen coverage.
  • Meet daily and weekly deadlines for website and magazine.
  • Write original stories with accuracy and speed in accordance with our journalistic standards.
  • Become the person the team and market participants look to as an asset class expert.
  • Cultivate and maintain contacts to break news and provide insight on the capital markets.

Experience and Qualifications Required
  • Send your very best published clips for consideration.
  • Experience covering US corporate bond markets is preferred.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas in clear and concise prose.
  • Experience producing high-quality journalism including breaking news and analytical features.
Compensation/Benefits Information (New York City applicants only):
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $93,000 - $172,600.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our annual incentive (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience. All roles are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG benefit program, more information & details will be provided at time of offer.
