We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our organization as the Head of People. As the Head of People, you will play a crucial role in shaping and driving our people strategy, ensuring that our organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive work culture. You are the company’s biggest cheerleader and you share this energy with all employees, whether they have been with the team for years or are just interviewing with us. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • First and foremost, you will promote exceptional internal customer service and drive positive culture within the team.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and selection process, partnering with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, develop job descriptions, source candidates, and oversee the interviewing and selection process.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies, regularly reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures as needed.
  • Organizational Culture: Champion the organization's core values, promoting a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by providing guidance and support on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering their professional growth, managing performance, and ensuring efficient and effective HR operations.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Establish key HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs, providing data-driven insights and reports to senior management.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards and organizational objectives.
  • Employee Development: Create and implement strategies to enhance employee development and engagement, including performance management, career development initiatives, and learning and development programs.
  • People Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the organization's goals, ensuring that it supports the growth and success of the company.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to cultivate an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered, and where diversity is celebrated.


SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive HR initiatives.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing people strategies in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, compensation, and benefits.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proven experience as a Head of People, HR Director, or a similar leadership role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
