About The Team

Each role at Miro is based at one of our physical hubs, and we look for talent who want to be a part of these local, highly connected communities. Mironeers work in a hybrid model, with 2-3 days a week in the office as our baseline.
About The Role
The Head of Key People Programs and Initiatives will play a critical role in supporting and enabling the entire organization and our employees to achieve their best work. The role of this leader is integral to overcoming challenges and obstacles faced by the People team. They will ensure operational alignment, manage strategic planning, and efficiently execute key initiatives. By coordinating and prioritizing People programs and initiatives, this role addresses the need to maintain a cohesive product roadmap, meet business requirements, and guide the team toward strategic goals. This person also serves as a key advisor to the Head of People as well as the rest of the People Leadership team.
What You’ll Do
  • Enabling the People Leadership Team - Ensure the Head of People and the People Leadership Team is focusing on strategic priorities and efforts aligned with business needs.
  • Cross-Functional Program Management - Successfully manage and lead large-scale cross-functional projects that impact the entire business.
  • Strategic Planning - Drive high-level strategic planning, headcount and budget planning, and align individual team initiatives to achieve shared goals within the People team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Serve as the liaison between leadership and the broader people and ensure the People team is working effectively
What You’ll Need
  • Demonstrates a strong preference for taking proactive and decisive action.
  • Track record of leading strategic planning for a sizable function, including headcount planning, budgeting, and goal setting in a hyper-growth / scale-up environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various HR topics to provide well-rounded expertise.
  • Ability to navigate high-level strategic thinking while managing operational details.
  • Experience leading large-scale programs from inception to completion.
  • Flexible communication style that bridges between the broader People team and the People Leadership Team.
