Head Of Logistics Solutions

Job Summary:

The Head of Logistics Solutions is responsible for analysis, warehouse design expertise, leadership and commercial due diligence to support the development of distribution and logistics solutions for existing operations and new customers.

She/He will be responsible for managing and developing project managers for implementation of new solutions, tools, methods and best practices across the region.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper assessment of efficiency for solution concepts, undertake simulation studies on capacity profiles and limits, material flow balancing, and incremental investments.
• Provide logistics analysis and design expertise in the pursuit of new business, inclusive of requirement clarifications, tender evaluations, manpower calculations, infrastructure and automation design and investment cases
• Review existing operations layouts and perform warehouse re-design as needed taking into consideration of net impact. Review appropriate storage types and methodologies.
• Provide leadership in logistics solutions design through evaluation and introduction of suitable storage and handling solutions and automation relative to the customer’s needs.
• Conduct Financial impact (cost benefit) analysis for proposed initiatives, quantify savings projection and together with intangible benefits.
• Establish strong customer relationships and anticipate customer solution needs.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 8 years of design / implementation of logistics solutions
• Collaborative with strong ability to respond and solve problem in an efficient manner
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong financial/cost accounting and analysis experience.
• Ability in preparing professional proposals and presentations.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
• Good knowledge of automation applications, storage solution, material handling equipment, packaging solutions, space analysis, manpower and order/inventory/SKU analysis

Salary $120,000-$130,000 annually
