AECOM is actively seeking an experienced, creative, exceptionally talented GIS Manager for immediate employment in the Ocoee, FL office.
Responsibilities:
+ Manages GIS staff and the GIS program for client
+ Assists all departments throughout the organization
+ Documents workloads, develop scopes and proposal documents
+ Presents to management and technical staff
+ Develops applications in ArcGIS Online and Collector for ArcGIS
+ Ability to create a production quality map product
+ Manages an enterprise GIS program
+ Develops spatial data layers using GIS technology, equipment or systems
+ QA/QC of all GIS products (map products and applications)
+ Plans, conducts, and coordinates detailed work
+ Works on conventional GIS practices but may manage complex features, such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional tools and difficult coordination
+ Devises innovative approaches to problems and coordinates technical aspects of work
+ Meets with clients to discuss topics, such as technical specifications, customized solutions, and operational issues
+ Provides technical expertise in GIS technology to users
Qualifications
Minimum:
+ Bachelor’s degree in geography, planning, engineering, computer science or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Ten plus years of demonstrated experience with ESRI’s ArcGIS including 5+ years of transportation experience
Preferred:
+ ArcGIS Online experience
+ Experience in cartographic principles, ability to construct a database and/or geodatabase for the compilation and analysis of geographic data
+ Experience with raster and vector geospatial data. Must be familiar with handling spatial data and coordinate systems within an ESRI software environment
+ Experience with attribute and location queries
+ Experience with client relationships and team management
