Lob is coming to LoDo! A brand-new, wildly fun bocce-golf game that anyone you roll with can play. Add locally infused craft food and drinks for the ultimate night out. We are looking for a dynamic leader with hospitality management experience to build, train and lead our powerhouse team. Our Denver location will be modeled after our Toronto property, which can be found at lobtoronto.com. This job offers a unique blend of direction from the Lob Ownership Group with the opportunity to contribute new ideas and programs.

The General Manager must have restaurant management experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to inspire a team to deliver exceptional hospitality. The chosen candidate will lead operations and be intimately aware of key financial drivers.

Specific Accountabilities

• Hold the team accountable to the highest standards of cleanliness, timing, uniforms, organization, production, food quality and consistency.
• Develop and implement strategies and programs to drive venue revenue.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Plan and coordinate menus with the Executive Chef and assist with new supplier procurement.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop our team members, creating opportunities for growth and empowerment.
• Prepare and implement standard operating procedures. Continually seeking improvements.
• Champion the Lob vision and culture, guiding the team to peak performance.
• Oversee day to day operations.
• Co-create and oversee tournaments, programs and other community events.
• Evaluate performance and provide coaching.
• Oversee Lob course maintenance, ensuring optimal gameplay experience.
• Create an environment that is warm, welcoming and fun for guests and employees.
• Community outreach and relationship building.
• Manage inventory and labor with COGS accountability.

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial and operational management.
• Must possess strong attention to detail with exceptional time management skills.
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Must possess strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage external partners (suppliers etc.)
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with an appropriate sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Highly motivated and very hands-on
• English proficiency is required. Additional languages are beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum 3+ years managing a restaurant.
• Ability to influence indirectly to achieve results.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• BSc in Business Administration or hospitality management a plus.
• Restaurant POS software troubleshooting experience.
• Merchant Service troubleshooting experience
• QuickBooks experience
