Skyros LLC Co-Founder

Description

Skyros LLC is seeking a co-founder for a best-in-class consultancy of senior SMEs with deep global expertise and networks for U.S. government and private-sector defense clients. The firm will bid on federal contracts as a prime or sub to leverage its global expertise in foreign military sales, security cooperation, and foreign training.

Position will be fully remote.

Duties/Responsibilities

As a co-founder, you will be an equity plankholder responsible to develop and grow the business

Leverage DoD and federal contracting experience and networks to identify and capture opportunities. Prepare clear, concise, and convincing RFI/RFP proposals

Instrumental in helping select and form the management team

Your business background will inform strategy and the development of the business plan

You will comment upon and help develop the initial marketing materials and marketing plan

Proven ability as a small business leader

Possible serial entrepreneur

Deep knowledge of federal contracting

Time management

Strategic planning

Proposal writing

Requirements

10+ years of experience in business

Knowledge and expertise in proposal preparation

Capture management knowledge

Expertise in federal contracting

Senior networks in DoD organizations

Preferred

Knowledge of foreign military sales/direct commercial sales

Experience with organizations such as SAF/IA, SPACECOM, USASAC, DSCA

Expertise in security cooperation

Military background a plus (e.g., retired CWO/field grade)

Foreign language skills a plus

Local to Hawaii a plus (to eventually open an office there)

Educational Background

Bachelor's degree required

Master's degree preferred

War college degree a plus
