Description:

Directly accountable to the Pharmacist for the quick and accurate preparation of drug and related documents for the care of patients. All drugs and documents will be checked prior to leaving the pharmacy; however technicians must strive for accuracy. Sterility of injections must be maintained at all times.

Licensure/Certification/Registration : Although not required a Pharmacy Technician Certification associate degree are desirable and/or registration as Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
