Job Description

CEC Manager


We are seeking a highly motivated CEC Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all executive meetings between our executive team and customers in our CEC space in San Mateo, as well as during our summit. Additionally, the CEC Manager will play a key role in improving our CEC process, including building assets, creating best practices guides, developing agenda templates, and introducing and setting up our new tool called Briefing Source.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Drive the adoption and usage of our new tool, Briefing Source, across the organization.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and goals for each meeting, and ensure that the agenda and other materials reflect those goals.
  • Continually evaluate and improve our CEC process based on customer feedback and industry best practices.
  • Plan and manage all aspects of executive meetings in our CEC space in San Mateo, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement best practices for CEC meetings, including agenda templates, email templates, and other assets that support a seamless and productive experience for our customers.


Requirements:

  • Customer Focus: CEC Managers must have a customer-focused mindset and be able to develop strong relationships with customers and partners. They should be able to understand customer needs and expectations and ensure that those needs are met during EBC or CEC meetings.
  • Expected to have several years of experience in managing executive meetings or events. This experience may include planning, executing, and managing events or meetings for senior-level executives and customers.
  • Overall, the CEC Manager should be a highly motivated and proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to achieve the goals of the CEC program. They should have a strong customer focus and be able to create a positive and productive environment for all stakeholders involved.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing executive meetings or events, preferably in a technology or B2B environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • CEC Managers must be able to think strategically and develop a clear vision for the CEC program. They should be able to identify and prioritize the needs of key stakeholders and develop effective strategies to meet those needs.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills are essential for CEC Managers. They must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
  • Familiarity with CEC best practices and trends, and experience implementing them in a real-world setting.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Compensation:

  • $34.82/hour - $46.43/hour
