Executive Director, Care Management Design

HCB is recruiting for an Executive Director, Care Management Design to design, develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive customized strategy for Clinical Care models across lines of business (LOBs) to drive a successful population health management operation for each of the models.
You'll make an impact by:

• Managing projects, people, customer expectations and business priorities to achieve constituent satisfaction.
• Responsible for the training, change management, and business readiness of new care model initiatives across LOBs.
• Partnering with clinical operations teams across Health Care Business (HCB) and Aetna Clinical Services (ACS) to drive performance.
• Developing and executing on care model design and monitoring performance against the defined targets and engagement. Drive the overall design or methodology of tactical and strategic advisory solutions that satisfy needs across products, segments, and clients to increase engagement.
• Supporting CVS Health in attracting, retaining and engaging a diverse and inclusive consumer-centric workforce that delivers on our purpose and reflects the communities in which we work, live and serve.
• Creating and leading a strong team through formal training, diverse assignments, coaching, mentoring and other development techniques.
• Oversight of design process and deployment and work with clinical leaders, the healthcare delivery leaders and integrate the delegation work into the Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid care models.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 131,500
Maximum: 297,250
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following experience / knowledge / ability:

• Extensive health care industry knowledge with experience working in clinical organizations.
• Demonstrated experience working with clinicians, finance, and operational leaders to drive performance improvement experience.
• Demonstrated design thinking skills and knowledge of Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid care models.
• 15+ years of experience in the health care industry.
• Demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, and critical thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a design and leadership role.
• RN or other clinical licensure would be highly valued.
• Familiarity with Care models and deploying best practices across large organization in a matrixed relationship.
