We are currently seeking an exceptional executive/personal assistant for our Chief Executive Officerin the New York City area. We will only consider the best candidates with outstanding work history, academic history, and demonstrated ability to exceed past employers' expectations. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity towork for a growing Islamic Fintech company.
This opportunity canlead to advancement inside the organizationfor candidates who are able to go above and beyond the call of duty. Musaffa is a multinational company, and the opportunities to move up and around the company are virtually limitless. Candidates that speak more than one language will get special consideration as Musaffa operates in a number of international cities worldwide.
A master's degree is absolutely required (i.e., Business or Finance very strongly desired, preferably from anIvy Leagueor other top-tier institution), and anon-disclosure agreementmust be signed before the candidate can start the interview process. Assistants with a master's degree in a field unrelated to business, like photography, for example, will not be considered.
The workload is quite heavy, and the required office hours each week are about 50, but you will be on call 24/7, seven days a week.
Executive Assistant will:
- Working with and through others ensures that our CEO has the information needed to understand all aspects of our operation so that he can make optimal decisions.
- Schedule appointments, book and manage travel, and ensure solid communications
- Communicate with industry partners.
- Produce, shepherd, and manage contracts.
- Assist our CEO, freeing him to focus on business development and expansion.
- Maintain corporate document files.
- Compose, modify, and produce documents.
Candidates should:
- Be resourceful and solution-oriented, able to work quickly and effectively with multiple tasks from multiple sources with little supervision.
- Be a proactive self-starter with the capability of problem-solving and managing details.
- Have a thorough understanding of how to support a CEO in a thriving business.
- Possess strong team skills and the ability to inspire others to action without line authority.
- Be trustworthy and can maintain confidentiality.
- Have excellent writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Take the initiative, prioritizes, and thrive in an environment of multitasking.
Qualifications
- Candidates with an exceptionally high GPAand/or ones that graduated with honors will have special consideration.
- Master's degree required. (Business related/Ivy League strongly preferred)
- Excellent English writing and grammar skillsare critical as the assistant will regularly correspond on behalf of the executives (to business leaders, agents, business managers, investors, philanthropists, etc.).
- References:Must have strong letters of recommendation from previous employers
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Stable Work History:Candidates with short-term stints of one year at previous employers will not be considered.
