The Goodwin Group is a leading executive search firm in the recruitment of senior executive leadership, including the “C” suite, and the selection of board members. The Goodwin Group team represents more than 40 years of experience in the executive search and board selection profession delivering quality results to a diverse group of clients.
The Goodwin Group is looking for a part-time Executive Assistant (20- 30 hours per week) to work closely with the Managing Partner and other team members to ensure efficient operations. This position will provide general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, arranging meetings, and processing confidential reports and documents.
The position may be remote, but the candidate must be willing to be onsite in the Atlanta (Buckhead Area) or Lake Oconee Area (Madison, Eatonton, Greensboro, GA) a few times per month.
Qualifications:
- Sense of urgency, bias for action, and strong follow through habits.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- High customer service orientation with a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward stakeholders at all times.
- Strong command of grammar and punctuation while editing documents such as letters, memos, meeting minutes and spreadsheets to ensure composition, contextual accuracy, and layout.
- Be able to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, Outlook, Dropbox, and others.
- Exceptional work management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Technically savvy with the ability to learn new systems and tools.
- Detail oriented and can work independently with limited supervision.
- Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, geared toward continuous improvement.
- Ability to interact with individuals professionally and confidently at all levels of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides information by answering questions and requests.
- Support maintenance of applicant data, documents, and correspondence.
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Managing Partner and team.
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality in all client and Firm matters.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and communications.
- Assist with administrative needs with editing correspondence, memoranda and other documents.
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members.
- Makes travel arrangements for Managing Partner such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assist with interview schedules, including scheduling, interview coordination, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Process expense reimbursement requests for candidates and other department expenses.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- 3 or more years’ experience in a coordinator or administrative role preferred, ideally in recruiting or human resources. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
