OVERVIEW:
Responsible for performing a variety of Administrative and Human Resource functions for Advantage Health Centers.

DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Continuously monitors and makes suggestions to HR Manager on ways to improve upon current employee training program and recruitment/onboarding process;
- Runs reports in HRIS and other tracking systems;
- Performs background and reference checks on all new employees;
- Provides administrative support as needed to the Human Resources Office of the Department of Operations;
- Administrative support tasks may include, but are not limited to: scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, filing, reference checks, facilitating HR onboarding process for new hires and preparing new hire packets;
- Completes audits and audit tracking for employee and credentialing files;
- Performs phone screens of candidates for new positions;
- Assists the Operations Department with a wide-variety of research projects;
- Ensures accurate and thorough onboarding of new employees;
- Provides customer service support to the HR Office by answering employee requests and questions;
- Conducts benefit enrollment for all new employees;
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
This position will be driven by projects, goals, and deadlines so applicants must demonstrate the ability to multitask, have excellent organizational abilities, and have an acute attention for details.
Knowledge of medical and health terminology is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; a positive attitude as well as the ability to work well independently on assigned tasks and goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited Associate Degree program or at least 2 years of work experience in Human Resources or similarly situated administrative work experience.
