Your Responsibilities
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Senior Vice President, Enterprise Operations & Technology – but you will also support and work closely with other department executives. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Executive Administrative Assistant to SVP, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located directly across from the Rockville Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
Right now, our associates in Rockville, MD are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtual from your home office the remaining days. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.

Your Responsibilities
- Handles confidential information carefully
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings for executives
- Coordinates room and location information
- Manage timelines and deliverables effectively
- Assists with any catering needs including ordering meals and communicating with vendors: comfortable reviewing pricing options and negotiating with vendors when appropriate.
- Distributes any information needed prior to events
- Provides support in preparing presentations, utilizing Microsoft Suite
- Additional general administrative duties, to include invoice processing, ordering office supplies, filling out expense reports, ect.
- Acts as a gatekeeper for executive calendars
- Works collaboratively as a strong relationship builder
- Plans and coordinates travel for executives
- High School diploma required, Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication required
- Demonstrates key competencies to include: Situational Adaptability, Customer Focus, and Collaborates
- Detail orientation mindset, with strong organizational skills
- 3-5 years’ experience in performing Administrative Assistant responsibilities; prior experience supporting executive strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
