Mission of Role
Leadership Connect is adding its second hire to our rapidly growing Events Team. The goal of this hire is to continue to grow our Events Business. The Events Outreach Coordinator will primarily help manage and develop relationships. They will work with different associations to help elevate their members as potential users. This position will also be instrumental in audience development and speaker outreach for the Events that the team organizes.
Overview of Events Team
Leadership Connect has over 40,000 users, and given our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an Events Outreach Coordinator to assist our Events Manager in developing the company’s Events Team. While the department is small, its impact is large as the Events Team works closely with every team in the company, fostering company-wide communication and collaboration that inspire impactful events for our clients and users.

About You:
- Strong ability to multitask with evolving priorities
- Must be a people person who loves building new relationships
- Knowledge of Word Press is a big plus
- Skilled in project management and outreach to clients
- Detail-oriented with superior prioritization skills and ability to handle many projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, writing, organizational, planning and project management skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
- Knowledge of webinar tools, bonus if it’s Zoom
- Ability and desire to attend in-person events
- Interest in the Public Sector is important
- Understands the importance of data driven results and KPIs for each event
- You have 1-2 years of project management experience
- Tech Savy
- You have 1-3 years of event planning and marketing experience
About the Role:
- Work with Event Manager to create social media posts and prepare metrics for each event
- Work with partners on expanding our relationships and brand awareness
- Identify key events across multiple sectors and prioritize in alignment for overall business goals and brand building
- Analyze the success of each event, provide post event analysis, internal and external feedback, and incorporate learning into future event plans
- Assist manager on creative projects including proposals, invitations, special events, etc.
- Research and Collaborate with Events Manager for Event Content and Topics
- Manage event registration processes from setup and instructions through after-action reporting
- Assist with day-of event staffing needs as assigned for both in-person and virtual events
- Collaborate with the Events Manager to create schedules and manage projects to ensure that major event milestones are met and delivered according to project schedules
- Actively engage with our Association clients on activating their members for audience development
- Prepare after event reports and collateral for marketing website and after event campaigns
