As an Event Coordinator, you’ll work alongside the Demand Generation and Marketing Operations function within the Marketing and Customer Experience team. You’ll play a critical role in advancing our marketing strategies through event execution. You’ll support programs that help build targeted market awareness and a positive brand reputation, in addition to generating demand and advocacy and driving sales growth. You’ll support the development, production, and implementation of omnichannel marketing campaigns with a primary focus on events, but also covering print, web, digital advertising, and social as needed.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist with the execution of the reporting strategies, dashboards, and cadence for measurable results.
- Manage work planning timelines and milestones, including the use of best practice tools to meet goals.
- Engage in communication and coordination with all relevant departments for marketing events.
- Provides support in the areas of planning, ordering, coordinating, and tracking for a high volume of tradeshows and customer events.
- Maintain timely procedures for the tracking and execution of event invoices and expenses.
- Liaise with agency partners to ensure effective project management and scheduling.
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Strong organizational and planning skills to coordinate the actions of multiple parties
- Approximately 5+ years in corporate event marketing with an emphasis on tradeshows and conferences
- Approximately 5+ years of overall experience in a business environment
- Creative thinking skills to design events that fit the visions of the clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools - Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word
- Good networking skills to build relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Knowledge of risk management to identify potential legal liabilities and take steps to mitigate them
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills for dealing with clients, vendors, and staff
- Multitasking ability necessary to move from one task to another at a fast pace
- Experience working with large teams across multiple organizations
- Basic accounting skills to track spending and stick to a budget
Education/Certifications
- BS/BA required in Marketing, Business or Communications-related field
