You're Excited About US Because You Will...

• Meet with customers to understand needs, offer suggestions, and determine all set-up needs, equipment, and menu items.
• Create and maintain each event's banquet event order (BEO) outlining all of the event's details, including instructions for the evening and the menu and wine choices.
• Host or participate in site inspections and client presentations to ensure property's offerings are showcased.
• Maintain appropriate contact with customer contact to ensure accuracy and work out any details.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell services to optimize total revenue potential and guest experience.

• You are willing and able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Work schedules will include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
• You have a strong knowledge of sales techniques and the skills and ability to negotiate and close sales.
• You have Two years of experience planning, organizing and/or executing events with Convention services, Catering, and/or Banquets.
• You have excellent creative skills to provide innovative set-ups, menus, and functions for groups with the ability to generate creative and innovative menus while working closely with Chef on pricing specialty menus.
• You have earned a High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management desired).

The expected annual salary for this position is $80,000. The actual salary offered will be at the sole discretion of the company and determined by relevant experience, qualifications, and skillset of the final candidate. This role is eligible for health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401k, educational reimbursement, and paid time off, including vacation and sick leave.
