Event Assistant Jobs

Our firm is currently looking to hire an Event Assistant to oversee and maintain our portfolio of clients throughout the OC area. The Event Assistant will support the director of Marketing, Sales and Events in preparing, running, and overseeing a variety of in-person marketing events. The Event Assistant must be an outgoing individual, capable of communicating effectively through face-to-face discussions. The Event Assistant should also be someone who is comfortable in a sales and marketing environment.

As an Event Assistant with our team you don’t just promote the client; you create an experience that leaves an imprint on the consumer’s mind. The Event Assistant will create a welcoming atmosphere, impactng those around them in a far greater capacity than that of indirect strategies like social media and print ads.

Event Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Work with various departments and staff to execute successful in-person direct marketing events
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, colleagues, and partners
• Develop and Maintain a variety of in-person programs/events
• Maintain a keen attention to detail
• Create, develop, and manage Promotional Events under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, Sales and Event
• Deliver interactive sales presentations during in-person events
• Report on daily conversion numbers in order to understand market and area demographics
• Portray confidence when delivering information about a client's product/brand in individual and group settings

Event Assistant Education and Work Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, sales, or a related field is preferred
• Comfortable with working weekends
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience working in marketing, sales, or customer service
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Dedicated to collaborative teamwork
