Leidos is seeking an Event Logistics Coordinator. The ideal professional will be handling logistical duties related to meeting and event planning for a contract assisting the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs (OJP). This position will assist the Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs Division within OJP’s Office of Communications (OCOM).

Daily Tasks:

• Coordinating congressional invitations and outreach for OJP events.
• Coordinating logistics for events on the Hill and in the field.
• Maintaining stakeholder lists.
• Capture lessons learned, best practices, and draft procedures as needed.
• Legislative tracking.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Flexible schedule, but generally expected to be available Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. ET.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience planning and coordinating meetings and other events.
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Word and Excel and remote partnership tools such as Microsoft Teams and Webex.
• Expected to be able to attend meetings and events in the Washington, D.C. area.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in speaking with customers and solution-oriented.

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Congress.
• Government familiarity.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $48,750.00 - $75,000.00 - $101,250.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
