Logistics Coordinator Jobs

Ryerson has an opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator position. As a Logistics Coordinator you are responsible for providing administrative support to the corporate logistics department.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Carrier rate administration
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
• Conflict resolution with customers and carriers
• Procurement of one-way carriers for shipments
• Proper documentation of all required logistics paperwork
• Freight bill payment, including bill exception resolution and minimizing logistic expenses
• Scheduling of truck appointments for smooth, efficient material flow
• Freight claims administration

Position Requirements:
• High School Diploma

• Internal drive to succeed
• Ability to analyze complex situations and make timely decisions
• Ability to communicate with customers and vendors
• MS Office software skills such as Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to multi-task when all projects are high priority
