Job Description
Department: Stadium Operations
Reports To: Executive Director, Stadium Planning & Special Projects
Job Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Description:

The Stadium Operations Event Coordinator will assist the Executive Director of Stadium Planning & Special Projects and the Senior Manager, Stadium Operations with the coordination of the logistical and functional activities for non-baseball events. This includes distribution of event-related information to all event staff, contractors, and team personnel.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Manager, Stadium Operations with coordinating the logistical and functional needs for assigned non-baseball events.
  • Manage the enforcement of stadium policies and procedures throughout each event; identify and, when necessary, resolve problems with the Stadium Operations Manager on Duty.
  • Assist with editing and preparing documents, as assigned.
  • Provide information to operations and support staff including as related to audio-visual, telecommunications, set-up, custodial, maintenance, security, and ticketing personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate and complete files, records and other documents relating to assigned responsibilities.
  • Be onsite for events, as assigned, while demonstrating continuous efforts to exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize quickly
  • Ability to build and maintain rapport with service contractors, municipal emergency services and all event staff
  • Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays including in an outdoor Stadium environment
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
  • 2+ years of experience in operations
  • Knowledge in determining and coordinating logistical needs for very large events, preferably in a large sports stadium or event venue
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to change
  • Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e., word processing, TEAMS, Zoom, spreadsheets, databases)
