Summary:

We are looking for an Operations Intern that will join our Team. The ideal candidate is a great communicator with attention to details and the ability to multitask to meet changing deadlines.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage Outlook calendar appointments/meetings
  • Create and maintain meticulous and accurate spreadsheets to assist with reporting
  • Learn and understand intermediate knowledge of functionality for products to assist with sales presentations (PowerPoints)
  • Facilitate conference room for meetings and run through tech to ensure smooth usage
  • Create shipping labels for sample requests
  • Plan company events / make travel arrangements
  • Monitoring and answering emails
  • Other responsibilities and ad-hoc projects may be assigned
  • Upload and maintain information across various platforms or internal software


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Enterprising: Eager to learn and improve, customer-centric, proactive.
  • Anyone interested in gaining hands-on experiencein consumer goods industry specifically home goods and furnishings; can be enrolled in, or recently graduated from Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, Business Management, or related field undergraduate or graduate program in accredited college/university but not mandatory
  • Adaptable: Able to prioritize based on changing needs. Take initiative with limited information.
  • Experience with Administrative tasks
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Analytical: Break down and assess situations, critical thinking, make data-driven decisions.


Additional Information:

  • Duration: 3-6 Months- Open to extend/renew
  • Anticipated Start Date: May
  • Schedule: Flexible, open to full or partial days, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday
  • Hours: 20-30 hours per week
  • Wage: $17/HR
