Forest Hills Stadium is located centrally in Forest Hills, within the borough of Queens, NY, a short distance from frequent service by several rail lines. During its first heydey in the 1960s and 70s, the stadium hosted The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Barbra Streisand, and Simon and Garfunkel. Today, icons such as Paul Simon, Alabama Shakes, and Mumford & Sons are back onstage. The stadium operators are proud of their long term vision to bring Forest Hills Stadium to its rightful position in the upper echelon of New York and American musical experience.

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Position Summary:

The Production Assistant is responsible for assisting and transporting event materials around the venue in a safe and efficient manner. The incumbent is the "go to" person for various production requests to fulfill production needs around the operation.

Essential Functions:

• Perform other various duties as required or requested from supervisor to fulfill show needs
• Assist with Staff Check In & Credential Distribution
• Takes on After Party Coordination
• Staffing of Guest Services and Venue Bag Check
• Performs Front-of-House Operations including signage deployment, site fixture placement, activation setup, etc.
• Assist with and handle VIP Parking Coordination
• Assist with administrative duties including making signage, drafting correspondence, and taking inventory.
• Assist Other Departments as Needed (Artist Hospitality, VIP Programs, Merchandise, Ushers, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to commit to a minimum of (10) events throughout the season (approx. 16-20 shows from May to Oct)
• A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
• Customer service orientation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
• Previous live music production experience is a plus
• Team oriented and willingness to assist others
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays on a Part-Time basis
• Must be able to take direction and execute instruction accurately

Pay Scale: $16.00
