Responsible for creating inspiring, engaging, and commercially viable packaging designs for Victoria’s Secret PINK Beauty. An expert in designing beauty primaries and secondaries in multi-materials. Manages multiple categories, has fluent knowledge of trends and design skills while demonstrating a strong passion for the brand.

Your Impact

• Fluent in typography design, color and artwork execution. Helps train junior designers.
• Deliver brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategy.
• A self-starter, idea generator, team inspirer and leader
• Manages multiple categories and helps structure team workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
• Effectively presents work to all levels, including leadership.
• Knowledge of cost structures and decision makes with cost awareness.
• Achieves goals with speed, agility, and acute attention to detail. Tracks progress and anticipates potential issues.
• Responsible for creating design turnovers, artwork turnovers and overseeing mechanicals.
• Apply deep understanding of brand codes, maintaining design and color consistency across the portfolio.
• Aware of marketplace trends and influences decision making in seasonal assortments
• Deliver packaging designs that drive business and meet brand goals.
• Ability to self-motivate to enhance creative and technical skills of self and team.
• Paces with the business, able to easily pivot and offer multiple design options that meet business needs.
• Prepare materials for meetings and presentations.
• Clearly communicate design concepts to comp houses to produce accurate 3D representations.
• Embrace opportunities to personally grow and develop skills and competencies.
• Create original concepts that encompass current fashion style, color and print.
• Partners with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process to ensure all designs are flawlessly executed.

Minimum Salary: $108,000.00

Maximum Salary: $141,750.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications

• Fluent with relevant design software particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Keynote
• Champion for change and able to react with speed and agility.
• Illustration skills and/or hand sketching and 3D rendering skills a plus
• Knowledge in, and passion for, current trends in design, beauty and fashion
• 5-7 years of design experience in a comparable packaging environment
• Portfolio demonstrates packaging and branding designs with an aesthetic relevant to the fashion/beauty industry, and a strong use of typography.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated, passionate and results oriented.
• Flexible and creative problem solver
• Collaborative partner with a team-oriented approach
• Bachelor's degree in Packaging/Graphic Design or a related field
• Solid communication and presentation skills
