As our Game Operations & Event Coordinator, you will responsible for planning, implementation, and execution of game night elements surrounding the Portland Trail Blazers and other basketball related events as well as lending support to the Rip City Remix (G-League) as needed

DAY-TO-DAY:
- Act as the primary contact on select game nights or other RQ events for concourse activations.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Fan Development, Group Sales, DEI) on game operation logistics and requests.
- Monitor data for First Game Program and other partner activations.
- Work with G-League affiliates to blend Trail Blazer elements into games.
- Schedule and track mascot appearances.
- Manage game day passes distribution for events like halftime and anthem.
- Participate in auditions for performance groups and assist in coordinating their appearances.
- Oversee pre-game “Blaze’s” Parade activation.
- Assist in departmental video uploads and in-arena multimedia elements.
- Contribute to general game night entertainment and brand strategy projects.
- Oversee concourse activations for Trail Blazers celebration & theme nights.
- Assist with payroll approvals using ABI software.
- Assist with game day promotions and setup.
- Coordinate game operations for various events, including Rip City Rally and Fan Fest.
- Support social media content creation for all teams.
- Research innovative enhancements for game operations.
WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:
- Showcase excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can engage with an external audience to boost excitement.
- Have 1-2 years of work experience within game operations team in a professional or amateur sport.
- Are detail-oriented, organized, and a creative collaborator.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Understand that the role demands evening and weekend work based on the fluctuating game schedule.
- Have a deep understanding of the logistics within a basketball game (preferred).
- Are flexible with your schedule, available for all Trail Blazers home games, evenings, and weekends.
- Are open to occasional travel based on event requirements.
- Possess a strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and multimedia tools for video uploads and in-arena elements.
- Can juggle multiple projects, demonstrating strong planning and problem-solving skills.
