TESP designs, develops, qualifies and manufactures a variety of small, highly reliable products, which in many cases are intended to operate explosive devices such as EEDs (Electro-Explosive Devices), EBWs (Exploding BridgeWires), EFIs (Exploding Foil Initiators), and other similar devices. Product applications include Aircrew Safety, Launch and Tactical Vehicles, and Energetic Devices.

TESP is an operating unit of Teledyne Technologies. TESP is located in Chatsworth, California, and has been manufacturing products since 1986.
Position Summary and Responsibilities
  • Able to use standard equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Counters, Data Acquisition equipment, power supplies, meters, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Support proposal preparation and customer presentations and meeting.
  • Experienced in the design, development, validation and verification of electronic hardware to DO-254/DO-178 preferred.
  • Sign On Bonus: $10k
  • PC Windows based applications like MS Outlook, MS Office, etc.
  • Able to use standard engineering design tools such as Orcad Schematic Capture and related tools.
  • The applicant shall be experienced in the formal design process from the concept, design, planning, requirements, description and final report documentation perspective.
  • Leadership of an Engineering Department of hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineers.
  • Hardware design expertise to support digital logic design incorporating microcontrollers and/or programmable arrays such as FPGAs, analog circuitry to support environmental sensors such as pressure, temperature and acceleration, plus voltage regulation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in DO-254 hardware development tools and requirements.
  • Must be capable of working with a minimum of supervision and guidance.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Must be able to read and interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, sketches, notes and verbal direction.
Must be a U.S person or U.S citizen

Salary Range:
$139,700.00 - $234,300.00
