Job Description
Equip is a virtual program helping families recover from eating disorders at home with comprehensive, gold-standard care created by experts in the field and people in recovery. Equip’s five-person care teams include dietitians, physicians, therapists, and mentors who deliver wrap-around support to provide families healing and lasting recovery.

We created Equip to increase access to evidence-based treatment for all people affected by eating disorders. In line with this mission, we are committed to partnering closely with insurance companies and ensuring our team, patients, treatment, and brand reflect the diversity of those affected by eating disorders.

We are seeking an Email Marketing Lead who is skilled at the art of exemplifying brand identity and building trusting relationships through email to join our team. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled in building end-to-end email campaigns, with a natural sense for cohesiveness and customer focus to help build synergy and thoughtfulness throughout our Lifecycle program. This is an individual contributor role, and will be responsible for hands-on creation and execution of email campaigns within Braze.
The Email Marketing Lead will work in collaboration with strategic brand leads and the creative team to gather and translate campaign goals and audience insights into technical execution. Interested candidates should enjoy the hands-on aspect of email operations while feeling confident owning project management for campaigns in their entirety; including asset coordination, testing recommendations, reporting, and stakeholder management. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Lifecycle & Email Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the email calendar and support cross-functional requests
  • Devise and execute A/B tests, record results, and advise on improvements
  • Execute the production of new email campaigns across our email ecosystem, including building emails, asset and copy coordination, QA, and scheduling
  • Own the execution of a comprehensive, thoughtful email marketing program focused on driving patient and provider acquisition, engagement, and loyalty
  • Analyze campaign performance and data through various reporting tools, tracking toward quarterly goals using a “test and learn” methodology

Requirements:

  • Experience managing cross-functional relationships
  • Hands-on experience setting up complex programs in an ESP (Braze or Iterable a plus)
  • Knowledge about email compliance, deliverability, and ongoing ESP health
  • Customer-focus mindset, with experience translating insights into marketing campaigns
  • Ability to work independently and develop recommendations autonomously
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in a marketing role; startup experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical, hands-on email marketing role
