Marketing Strategist/Consultant

Classification: Independent Contractor, Project Based, Remote, Fee Based

Anticipated Hours: 10-15 per week for the first month and then as needed

Anticipated Rate: $150-$250 per hour

Work Summary

The Marketing Strategist/Consultant is an independent contractor who will collaborate with key team members including the CEO, Program Directors, Graphic Designer, and Marketing and Communications Specialist to develop the company’s overall marketing strategy and, as needed, provide ongoing consultation. This includes, but is not limited to, branding, public relations, social media, email campaigns, SEO, and paid advertising across all services and channels.

Scope of Work

• Available post-project completion for potential check-ins or smaller ongoing follow-up question s
• Speak with company leadership, key stakeholders, and relevant agency partners; evaluate company data and marketing budget; and conduct competitor and overall market analysis to make short and long-term marketing strategy recommendations across parent company and subsidiaries (to be implemented by current employees)
• Balance marketing strategies across multiple in-person and virtual service lines and businesses

Consultant’s Background:

• Experience driving marketing strategy for in-person and digital services
• Familiarity with Mailchimp, UX, social media, video, media outreach, SEO, PPC, Meta Ads, Google Ads & Analytics
• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Consulting experience in Healthcare Marketing with a variety of funding sources; experience in Mental Health and ABA is preferred
• Experience with creating a brand and integrated marketing strategy
• Worked with a large multidisciplinary team (preferably in the behavioral health field)
