What You Will Get to Do
- Monitor IP health of mailing domains using several tools to include MX Tool, Spam Assassin, Validity.com, and others.
- Build and running reporting on special soft bounce and temp bounce errors to discover the root issues and employ corrections to data segmentation.
- Identify and work with all aspects of Validity/Everest including spam trap hits and blacklisting them on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, spam complaint spikes and identify which domain, email spoofing and if its a threat, and blocklists and remediation.
- Provide education on delivery to leadership and how things are going from high level to low level
- Optimize delivery issues by understanding bounce codes by ISP and correcting errors with postmasters utilizing ESP relationships and decipher the root reason of temporary error codes and permanent and how to lobby with ESP and ISP postmasters to correct delivery errors
- Deep dive into metrics that make email work. positive metrics as well as negative metrics
- Test engagement thresholds among every single SCAE flow to improve quality of the sending ecosystem in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Manage email authentication, such as DKIM, SPF, and DMARC, to improve email deliverability.
- Inbox test all new campaigns getting ready to deploy using our internal seed system as well as Everest
- Analyze postmaster tools by ISP such google postmaster, SNDS (hotmail), yahoo FBLs on ESP, etc.
- Work with marketers during optimization process and give insight on content and creative that may do better/worse for an email standard.
- Monitor multiple SCAE Flows every single morning to identify if singular campaigns are not inboxing and what domain it is for in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Review and change HTML on creatives to correct or enhance delivery to ISPs in marketing cloud
- Come up with new email ideas that would be high volume and low spam complaint to outweigh our shopping cart abandonment emails
