E-Commerce Marketing Effectiveness Manager


We are looking for a smart, self-motivated, data-driven Marketing Effectiveness Manager who will be

responsible for measuring, analyzing, and reporting on marketing & channel efforts to maximize their

effectiveness, optimize return on investment (ROI), and drive better results in the future. The ideal candidate

will have excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills, and the ability to understand and

measure if marketing channels are effective.


You will be accountable for understanding business priorities, setting measurement strategies across multiple

categories and channels, and executing those strategies with demonstrated business impact. You have deep,

hands-on marketing experience, including solving challenging multi-domain, global, and enterprise-level

marketing measurement challenges, and experience educating and influencing a broad set of stakeholders.

In this position, you’ll work closely with product managers, analysts, marketers, data scientists, and agency

partners to evolve and sustain a holistic, scalable, impactful marketing effectiveness measurement program. We

are a fast-paced and agile group with global stakeholders. We put a focus on getting things done, simplifying

anything and everything, and having fun while doing it.


  • Strategize measurement and learning priorities for Integrated Marketing campaigns (i.e. audience targeting, messaging, analytics, and operational requirements)
  • Think with a business lens and leverage analytics to deliver actionable insights and recommendations
  • Demonstrate thought leadership around marketing operations and digital sales enablement
  • Optimize and measure impact of paid, owned, and earned media
  • Manage workflow and day-to-day support from Category & Channel Leads
  • Find opportunities to optimize efficiency and lead discussions around measuring performance & business impact
  • Support creation of Performance Scorecards and Measurement plans tied to team priorities
  • Drive deeper category and channel insights across Store, partnering with key stakeholder groups (e.g.Surface, Gaming, etc.) and within Integrated Marketing
  • Build and execute strategic plans for measuring and optimizing marketing operations
  • Derive data-driven insights and communicate them simply and visually
  • Help drive storytelling and understanding of performance drivers
  • Implement roadmap schedule as a communication tool to ensure project stays on schedule
  • Own communications with DSO and DAP, sharing knowledge to broader teams
  • ResponsibilitiesOperate within a matrix and align cross-functional partners across business teams
  • Partner with Campaign Lead to drive structure and balance across categories


  • Actionable insights and recommendations thought leadership around marketing operations and digital sales enablement
  • Category and channel insights across the Store
  • On a minimum monthly basis, deliver the following for Integrated Marketing/Outbound team:
  • Create business development requirements, roadmap and timelines for the ME strategy. With a plan to rollout by Q2.
  • Opportunities to optimize efficiency and lead discussions around measuring performance & business impact
  • Measurement and learning priorities for Integrated Marketing campaigns (i.e. audience, targeting, messaging, analytics, and operational requirements)
  • Storytelling and understanding of performance drivers
  • Conduct analysis and monitoring for meta-data management of customer, campaign, channel and creative that enables marketing analytics and effectiveness
  • Coordination across IM, DAP and Prod Ops to align data, technology and tools supporting ME strategy
  • Develop a continuous learning process aligned with key moments, product and campaign launches that will refine the ME framework throughout the FY'24 fiscal year.
  • Establish & document a framework, guidelines and process for rollout of ME strategy with contributions from IM, DAP & Prod Ops.
  • Communicating them simply and visually impact stories of paid, owned, and earned media
  • Deliverables v1Coordinate across Integrated Marketing Outbound Channels and Campaign leads to develop clear OKRs for a unified ME strategy

  • Create presentations and data visualizations of marketing performance designed to represent marketing return on investment and optimization recommendations.
  • Develop and implement campaign measurement strategies, including the creation of performance scorecards & dashboards, measurement plans with a focus on storytelling, actionable category & channel insights, and optimization opportunities.
  • Marketing analytics and effectiveness frameworkCoordinate and develop measurement and learning priorities for the Integrated Marketing
  • Establish & document a framework, guidelines, and process for the rollout of the ME strategy with contributions from IM, DAP & Prod Ops.
  • Provide data-driven insights, and actionable recommendations to optimize marketing operations, digital sales enablement, and performance across Integrated Marketing teams.
