About the Team
The global eCommerce US operation team aims to deliver high quality products together with a unique customer experience via TikTok. The role is responsible for building the TikTok Ecommerce partnership for the TikTok e-commerce business in the US. With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. Role Overview
The US Ops, Marketing Event Producer, will provide support to the Event Production Lead across TikTok Shop's most influential B2B and B2C event moments.
The ideal candidate has proven experience leading and supporting live events and experiential activations. We're looking for someone with a strong vision for event production and execution and a pulse on industry event trends. Key candidates will have knowledge of the events landscape as a whole, and familiarity with major tentpoles, industry tradeshows, and marquee events like CES, SxSW and Cannes Lions.
This position reports to the Head of Marketing.
- Owning all aspects of planning and production for assigned events and activations, including, but not limited to:
- Managing external relationships with agencies, venues, tradeshows and vendors from sourcing to briefing to on-boarding and managing contracts and payments with internal business partners
- Project management and leading communication across internal XFN teams
- Brainstorming event strategy against business objectives/KPIs and proving event ROI
- On-site operations overseeing agency, event staff, technical crew, and necessary production partners
- Obtaining and organizing vendor insurance, invoices, and necessary documents
- Entering and tracking inputs into important event documents (budgets, leads, requests etc.)
- Develop knowledge and understanding of TikTok's brand presence and expectations at events
- Drive multiple projects forward simultaneously
- Build strong working relationships with cross functional teams, including but not limited to: Events, the Creative Studio, Operations, etc.
- Research and recommend up-and-coming agencies, vendors and venues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a event-specific role working for a brand or agency.
- Rich experience in supporting a wide variety of small/medium/large-budget experiences in marketing, entertainment, and tech event industries. Large-scale activations at consumer-facing festivals, trade shows, and industry events are a must
- Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative team player in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment
- Ability to create decks, presentations, budgets, run-of-show documents, etc.
- Proven ability to prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and deadline driven environment

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91200 - $143555 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
