About the Role:
With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, TikTok is the ideal platform to deliver a brand new and exciting shopping experience to our users. TikTok is already the place where cutting-edge Beauty trends first surface, and where brands, creators, and consumers are already connecting in meaningful ways. We are looking for experienced Beauty Category Managers to bring their passion for the category, and their eCommerce experience to help brands find scale on TikTok Shop. The ideal candidate will demonstrate Growth Mindset and be open to learning new skills and developing expertise in content commerce. We are looking for strong ownership, the ability to problem-solve effectively despite ambiguity, the ability to deliver results, and great communication. We are looking for entrepreneurs who are excited to be a part of something big - and we welcome those with passion for Beauty, for eCommerce, or for operating on the cutting edge of commerce & technology.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, prioritize, and onboard Beauty merchants establish and scale the Beauty category on TikTok Shop across key account, mid-size, and small brands
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and case studies to onboard Brands to TikTok Shop, build brand partnerships, and develop the Beauty category
- Execute business development strategy by deeply understanding the TikTok Shop proposition and ecosystem, as well as the needs and decision drivers for Brands
- Partner with leading beauty brands to jointly develop growth strategy for TikTok Shop across video, livestream, creators, affiliates, and merchandising to grow the category through partnerships
- Develop a deep understanding of the evolving TikTok Shop ecosystem, and coach and enable your brands to grow their business with the right tools, process, and partnership model
- Be a capable operator, leveraging data and analysis to forecast the business, and working cross-functionally to resolve issues across merchandising, logistics, product, and platform
- Become an expert in content and creator commerce for the Beauty category, and enable your merchants to establish and meet joint partnership goals
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in eCommerce in Brand-driven categories such as beauty, personal care, CPG
- Experience forecasting and delivering against sales, GMV, or related commercial targets at category, account, or brand level
- Experience with business development, pitching, and partnership management with brands
- Experience advising and guiding brands to optimize and scale their eCommerce or digital business
Preferred Qualifications:
- A combination of experience on both the platform or retail side, and the brand or merchant side
- Experience with TikTok or other content-driven platforms or content-based commerce on either brand or platform side

Job Information:
【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91200 - $143555 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
