Controls and Avionics Solutions provides flight and mission-critical products to more than 170 commercial and military customers around the world. CAS products include fly-by-wire flight controls, pilot controls (inceptor systems), full authority digital engine controls (FADEC), power management systems, flight deck systems, cabin management systems, weapon controls, autonomous flight systems, and mission systems for the world's most prominent commercial and military aircraft manufacturers.

Job responsibilities for the position include:

• Maintain configuration of documentation created by our partner organization in the local EPDM system
• Prepare Engineering changes to released designs, and review changes written by other team members.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the functions, specially manufacturing and our partner organization, to achieve the optimal design and manufacture of the equipment.
• Ensure change documentation that requires partner approval includes a proper level of information (usage details, Bill Of Materials files, supporting documentation)
• Coordinate with our partner organization in France on documentation and changes
• Provided updated documentation to our partner organization to ensure their documentation is up to date
• Work with our partner organization to obtain their approval on changes as necessary.
• Ensure change documentation is clear and includes a proper level of substantiation to provide customers with the information required to approve of the change.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, schedule driven environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Familiarity and experience with change request creation and approval process in an EPDM system (Preferably Windchill)
• Working knowledge of drawing and configuration management practices thru all product phases (Development, Production and Aftermarket)
• Ability to exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws.
• Exhibits sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers, suppliers and company partners
• 2 year engineering degree or higher preferred
• Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with circuit card assembly and printed wiring board designs in military, aircraft, or other high reliability electronics packaging environment
• All of the above required experience and 10 or more years of relevant experience.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66700 - $113400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
