Job Description

Pugh Executive Search is assisting in the search for a Hands-On Controller to manage all aspects of Accounting and Reporting for a growing commercial services company headquartered in DesMoines. This strategic, yet tactical, role will be tasked to evaluate and improve current accounting processes to provide streamlined, efficient, and accurate reporting. Additionally, will develop an accounting team as needed. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company in the beginning stages of growth.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong experience with Consolidations and Intercompany Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience of supervisory experience
  • Driven, self-motivated personality with above-average communication and presentation skills
  • Must know Percentage of Completion Accounting
  • 8+ years in progressive accounting roles with a strong preference for experience in the construction, commercial services, or manufacturing industry
  • 3+ years of experience working with multi-entity, multi-location corporations
  • Experience with purchase accounting and integration of acquisitions
