Position: Dispatcher – Final Mile

Department: Werner Final Mile

Location: Lowes, Mesquite, TX

Work Environment: On-site

Shift: Sunday-Saturday, 5 days, start times: 5:30 am / 7:30 am / 9:30 am / 12 noon

Full time: $19.50 per hour.

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Dispatch professional to join a new and dynamic operation. As Dispatcher, you will be the operation’s conductor and support system responsible for maintaining ongoing communication with delivery teams, clients, and customers in order to address and resolve any problems or obstacles that could interfere with the timely completion of scheduled deliveries.

Dispatchers operate company cell phones and land line telephones to support home décor delivery trucks and to coordinate the activities of drive teams (driver & helper) and other personnel.

Responsibilities:

Communicates with sense of urgency with all parties keeping them informed of schedule or delivery issues, answering questions, responding to request and identifying and implementing solutions.

Qualifications:

Combination of education and 1-3 years relevant logistics/dispatch experience collectively considered.

Must be 18 years old.
