Department Overview

  • TD Securities provides a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our knowledge, innovation, and experience in the following key areas of finance: Investment and Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, Interest Rate, Currency and Derivative Products. TD Securities works with clients around the world, and our services include the underwriting and distribution of new debt and equity issues, providing advice on strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and executing daily trading and investment needs.

The Financial Resources Management (FRM) is a group on the trade floor, responsible for xVA management, Collateral Management as well as Capital Management. On the xVA front, the desk is responsible for the analytics, pricing and hedging of xVAs. Connected to xVAs, the desk is responsible for optimizing the cost of collateral. Capital management is a third and related mandate of the team.

  • Focus on managing and optimizing collateral
  • Contribute to the daily PnL process and enhancements
  • Contribute to the analytics of the team, with the goal of optimizing the business constraints
  • Provide insight in capital framework
Job Requirements
  • Demonstrated strong business analytical skills, interpersonal skills, initiative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Very strong communication skill is paramount
  • Strong Bloomberg and computer skills
  • Advanced degree in fields such as Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Science … etc
  • Familiar with xVA modelling framework
  • Familiar with optimization algorithms and routines
  • Prior experience with xVAs and xVA management
  • Ability to think critically and rapidly adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Fully informed on market data, economic information, and key industry developments, and ability to interpret this information to make sound trading decisions.
Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
