Position Summary
The Director of Professional MBA Admissions will report to the Assistant Dean, MBA Admissions. The Director oversees the development and planning of innovative admissions, recruitment and yield strategies and operations for the Professional MBA program. The Director, in collaboration with stakeholders, will:
  • Lead a team with the goal of identifying and recruiting prospects, interviewing, evaluating applications, and selecting and enrolling top candidates for the Professional MBA program.
  • Monitor goals and admissions & recruiting targets for each program and establish priorities and tactics to achieve goals.
  • Develop innovative strategies, initiatives, partnerships and programs that ensure successful attraction, recruitment, matriculation and retention of high caliber students for the Professional MBA program. cross-sell and cross-function for other graduate programs at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business to ensure a high level of collaboration and productivity.


The Director will provide an extremely high level of organization and a commitment to a collaborative approach with an engaged community.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong sales/recruitment, leadership, and customer service experience
  • Experience interacting with corporate managers and executives strategically about partnership and sponsorship opportunities
  • Experience developing recruitment programs, designing effective materials and creating outreach events to attract and enroll top candidates
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Master’s degree or the equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Several years of experience (typically 5+ years) in MBA admissions, corporate recruiting, strategic selling, or in a relevant industry sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to master prospect management system


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field
  • Experience in higher education or business industry
