The Director of Online Admissions is responsible for working with the Online Learning team and overseeing the online admissions process for Greenville University. This includes developing, and implementing recruitment strategies, and collaborating with other departments to ensure the enrollment goals are met. The Director of Online Admissions will also be responsible for analyzing data, monitoring trends, and making recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the online admissions process.
The selected candidate must provide evidence of a vibrant Christian faith, clearly understand and internalize the mission of Greenville University, and articulate the value of Christian higher education.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement online recruitment strategies to attract prospective students.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as high school guidance counselors and community college advisors.
- Recruitment travel will be involved in this position.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
- Provide Supervision and support in achieving enrollment goals and managing the enrollment process including supervising online retention and advising specialists.
- Analyze data and monitor trends in the online admissions process to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to online admissions.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, IT, and academic affairs to ensure the online admissions process is aligned with the school or university's overall objectives.
- Manage the online admissions budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of current online marketing techniques and trends.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education admissions or marketing, with at least 2 years in online admissions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and work with a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance issues related to higher education admissions.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, education, business administration or related field.
- Familiarity with online admissions systems and technology.
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
