DIRECTOR OF SALES | 100% REMOTE | STARTING AT $125K

Role / Responsibilities

Responsible for oversight and day-to-day operations of payment rails and platforms, Debit/Credit Card plastics and transactions, ATMs and money orders. Works with leaders to set strategic priorities and direction for payment operations. For all areas of responsibility ensures the appropriate level of staffing, leadership, mentoring and training is in place to support the success of the team members.

• Oversees all wire processing and ACH programs. Monitors efficiency of these processes and stays up to date on all rule and regulation changes.
• Collaborates with Finance/Treasury teams to provide reporting, analysis and understanding of cash flow transactions throughout the credit union.
• Coordinates payment software, system and their interface with the credit union.
• Monitors performance of payment systems and provides comprehensive analysis and recommendations to ensure continued viability of the various systems.
• Maintains current knowledge of NCUA regulations, general accounting principles, NACHA rule & regulations, VISA rules & regulations.
• Ensures Payment Operations staff is adequately trained, motivated and capable of providing efficient and effective support to external and internal team members.
• Identify Voice of Customer related to payment systems and functions. Use quantifiable measurements to ensure our payment systems are meeting the needs of the member.
• Ensures efficient and accurate operation of credit union payment systems.
• Responsible for all aspects of ATM program and vendor management of the program to include consistent cash fulfillment process across all platforms and stores.
• Responsible for debit/credit card functions related to transactions and plastic management, including vendor relationship with Visa, Visa DPS, and other providers of the card program.
• Develops and continuously improves payment processing and functions.
• Works across all verticals and delivery channels to deliver a consistent and reliable payment experience to our members.
• Contributes to the formulation, implementation, and administration of payment policies and procedures, as well as generating reports and relevant data to help track overall performance of payment channels.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in progressive management experience required.
• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field from an accredited university required. MBA or similar degree preferred.
• Banking experience is a plus!
• Strong decision-making skills required.
• Experience with DMAIC, Six Sigma, Project Management, Agile concepts preferred.
• Experience within the payments field preferred.
• Accredited ACH Professional designation preferred.
