We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Manager with a strong ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple vendors involved in the development of our product. As the QA Manager, you will be responsible for leading the QA efforts, ensuring top-notch quality assurance practices, and effectively coordinating between the vendors to deliver a cohesive and high-quality product. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining smooth communication and alignment between all stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams, to achieve project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Environment Management: Collaborate with vendors to ensure the availability and readiness of appropriate test environments to support testing activities effectively.
• Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges related to multi-vendor coordination and quality assurance. Develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
• Participate as a team member of the functional team
• Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that accommodate the involvement of multiple vendors. Define testing responsibilities and establish clear expectations to achieve a unified approach to quality assurance.
• Provide best practice and industry specific solutions
• Process Harmonization: Work closely with all vendors to align QA processes and methodologies, fostering a cohesive approach to quality assurance that meets project requirements and standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to continuously improve QA processes, vendor collaboration, and overall product quality. Encourage a culture of innovation and efficiency within the QA team and across vendor partners.
• Process Flows
• Metrics and Reporting: Define key quality metrics and establish reporting mechanisms to monitor the performance of each vendor and the overall product quality. Present status reports and insights to project stakeholders as needed.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with project managers, vendors, and internal teams to provide updates on QA progress, potential bottlenecks, and risk assessments.
• Participate in data conversion and data maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Multi-Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related matters between our organization and the various vendors involved in the product's development. Ensure seamless communication, collaboration, and alignment of QA efforts.
• Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members
• Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions
• Defect Management and Tracking: Implement an efficient defect tracking process that involves vendors and internal teams, prioritizing issues and driving them to resolution.
• Test Execution Oversight: Supervise the execution of testing activities by coordinating with vendors, internal QA team members, and other stakeholders. Ensure timely and accurate test execution across all parties.
