This strategic position, reporting to the VP of Operations, is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing a diverse range of products and customers within a complex business environment. The primary focus of the role is to achieve operational excellence and drive the company’s vision forward by leading a talented and multidisciplinary team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Oversees the order fulfillment process through a group of leaders in a product family structure, which includes the following functions: Assembly and Test, Planning, Product Support Engineering, Assembly and Test Process Engineering, Tactical Purchasing (Supplier Management, Supplier Quality Engineer, and Supplier Quality Techs) Product Quality Assurance/Black Belts and Stock room.
• Responsible for product family budget, capital plans and staffing requirements.
• Participates as a key member of the Leadership team.
• Independent Research & Development
• Participates in the Product Life Cycle process including, but not limited to:
• Production Aftermarket Support
• Accountable for product family metrics and performance (Quality, Delivery, Responsiveness, and cost)
• Platform Development
• Collaborates with, and may lead, multi-disciplined teams comprised of Systems Engineering, Development Engineering and Sales, Service and Marketing organization to optimize strategy and approaches to life cycle management, field reliability, customer issues and product improvement.
• Business Cases Analysis
• Works closely with Sales, Service and Marketing organization to synchronize customer requirements/demand, new product introduction and operations planning and production.
• Proposals
• Product Design and Development

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of prior product family leadership experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in related field
• Experience with FAR 145 repair station & the FAA
• Bilingual preferred, not required.

Estimated annual base pay:$147,103 (minimum) - $183,879.00 (midpoint)
