What We’re Looking For:
RocketDrop is a rapidly growing Southern New Hampshire company that is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as the Director of Government & Education Sales. The F-SLED Sales Director will build and lead a sales team in selling RocketDrop products and services to the Federal, State, Local Government and Education market. A successful candidate for this position will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our presence across the government and education sectors and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets
- Identify new sales opportunities – inside or outside of the consumer electronics category – and build relationships with key decision makers in government agencies and educational institutions. inside or outside of the consumer electronics category
- Manage and develop key customer relationships to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the F-SLED market
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry associations and government agencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business related field desired
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
- In-depth experience negotiating large value contracts
- 3+ years of building and managing a sales team from the ground up
- 8+ years of experience selling to Government & Education markets (Consumer Electronics category desired)
- Strong understanding of sales policies, sales cycles, customer acquisition and service
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to inform sales strategies
