About The Role


As the Director of Business Development, you play a crucial role in shaping the company's future by driving its growth, exploring new opportunities, fostering meaningful partnerships, and expanding the organization's market presence. You create and implement strategies to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. You are able to involve a mix of strategic thinking, relationship-building, and execution to achieve overall business objectives.



Responsibilities


  • Develop financial models used to estimate cash flow and the potential for profitability.
  • Identifies target practice locations in specific states to serve as a new platform location for expansion in addition to virtual care (telehealth).
  • Collaborates, plans and implements a negotiation strategy and leads the negotiations with executives and stakeholders.
  • Leads research activities to identify business opportunities and alliances, conduct due diligence, develop plans and strategies for new alliances.
  • Identifies and evaluates an organization's opportunities for new lines of business and market opportunities, mergers & acquisitions.
  • Advises and evaluates deal rationale, financial projections, risk assessment, and financial implications.



Requirements


  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines is essential to ensure smooth execution of business development initiatives.
  • MUST have Psych experience.
  • MUST have Healthcare M&A experience.
  • 5+ years in business development, sales, marketing, or related roles with leadership experience is essential.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Having a deep understanding of market trends, competition, and customer needs to formulate effective business development strategies.
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written, is critical.
  • The ability to think critically and strategically to identify, pursue, and develop long-term plans to drive business growth.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, finance, or a related field is typically required. MBA preferred.

Additional Information


The expected base pay for this role will be between $80,000 - $100,000 annually, plus strong incentives based on opportunities and transactions, at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other PsychPlus Health-sponsored benefits.
