Job Description

Orion Solutions has teamed up with a leading global logistics provider of transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, global logistics, business intelligence, technology, and supply chain solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated Director of Enterprise Business Development to join our team. If you are a highly motivated sales professional with a passion for the logistics industry who loves to work hard and play hard, this might be a great fit for you.


The primary responsibility of this position will be to sell domestic warehousing and transportations solutions to enterprise and high-volume customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in enterprise logistics sales, strong prospecting and business development skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM utilization, and be able to work independently while collaborating with our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Prospect, identify and close new business opportunities primarily with enterprise and high-volume customers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth goals.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts.
  • Provide regular sales reporting and forecasting to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics operations.
  • Experience selling domestic warehousing, transportation and custom solutions.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM utilization.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of logistics enterprise sales experience required.
