Job Description
Summary Of Functions


Under the general direction of Vice Chairman, the Director of Business Development, CPE Products is responsible for achieving sales targets focused on selling new CPE (customer premises equipment such as modems, set top boxes, and fixed wireless access) products to assigned accounts and geographies. Working with contracted manufacturer partners to identify market factors that would influence business to the company, developing the appropriate messaging to position the company as a leading supplier of new CPE products, and undertaking direct sales and marketing activities, the Director of Business Development, CPE Products will secure new contracts and manage assigned accounts to the financial guidelines established by the company.


Key Responsibilities


  • Attend weekly calls with manufacturer partners to communicate sales activity and customer progress
  • Help implement new programs and ensure customer satisfaction by working with our team of project managers, engineers, and data analysis
  • Provide weekly funnel and forecast updates to Senior Leadership
  • Respond to requests for quotations from your clients
  • Develop preferred relationships with your customers and qualify new sales opportunities
  • As required, travel to meet with customers to deliver proposals and presentations
  • Collaborate on the development marketing campaigns, customer presentations, RFP responses and other programs to create more awareness of Sagent's value proposition
  • Be knowledgeable in the technical specifications and applications of use for the new CPE products that the Company represents so you can perfect your delivery of the Sagent value proposition as you interact with your assigned customers


Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required


  • Existing relationships with network operators that purchase CPE products.
  • The ability to build quick rapport with new customers and identify problems that Sagent can help solve
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize throughout the day
  • Technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Sales with a specific focus on CPE products
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or Communications
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined skills to and provide follow-up to all customer inquiries
  • The ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) both spoken and written
