POSITION OVERVIEW
In this role, the individual will be an important contributor developing, leading, and optimizing various park programs, processes, promotions & events for our Sky Zone Franchise locations. As a Director of Franchise Programs, you will initiate, set goals, and establish the vision for various programs. You will work closely with cross functional teams and third-party vendors and be responsible for tracking, evaluating, and reporting on each program, promotion, or event to ensure all programs are successfully delivered and add value to the company.
Successful candidate will be self-driven, analytical, detail oriented, have excellent communication skills & work well in fast paced, cross-functional team environments. The ideal candidate must have a strategic mindset with a background in membership program & event management, in an agile project management setting and a proven ability to identify new revenue driving programs, products, processes, or promotions to meet companywide objectives and enhance the Guest and Member Experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works to create any necessary resources, operation manuals, guides, and/or budgets to support new programs or initiatives.
- Conducts customer and competitor research, performs data analysis, presents results, and makes development recommendations for programs, promotions, and events to senior leadership.
- Subject matter expert and point of contact for Franchise Field Ops teams on event and membership program related best practices.
- Develops new program deployment communications plan and strategy.
- Champions new event + membership program and process enhancements from development, piloting, and deployment, through to implementation and long-term management of the program.
- Develops program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.
- Coordinates and leads recurring cross-functional team meetings to track & monitor progress of programs and enhancements in development and pilot.
- Evaluates, develops, and monitors partnership opportunities.
- Creates weekly status reports and communicates any potential risks.
- Collects post deployment/implementation feedback, adjusts the overall program strategy, as necessary.
- Resolves quality standards discrepancies and program quality concerns with internal teams and vendors, as necessary.
- Leads and participates in the quarterly planning and scoping processes that determine the events and membership program roadmaps.
- Project manages and facilitates the creation of the program marketing plan, strategy, and assets.
- Presents new program offerings to the network at convention and throughout the year via micro learning sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from accredited university in related field
- Flexible and can adapt, in a fast-paced environment, to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Must have at least 7 years of membership program and/or event management experience at a franchisor. Traditional and /or agile project management experience a plus
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong formal presentation abilities
- Expertise in MS Office applications & project management platforms
- Ability to create and manage project schedules and timelines
- Self-directing and self-motivating
- Ability to promote collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries
- Ability to lead, manage, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
- Excellent written and verbal communications and effective interpersonal skills
Compensation: $120-130k
