Job Description
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
Lead strategic initiatives that connect the adidas brand to our target consumers through use of global and local celebrities, media and entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the management of multiple marketing project budgets according to brand and key city priorities and business initiatives while ensuring all aspects of the plan are within the estimated budget.
  • Develop and drive processes and strategy to support key global (and local) product and influencer activations that ensure successful sell-in/sell-out of product ranges
  • Ensure Culture Marketing strategy is implemented in any product or brand marketing initiatives that involve influencers.
  • Provide direction to and support key brand strategies through cross-functional collaboration and execution
  • Act as the link between BU creation teams, Brand Marketing, Influencer Marketing and Category Marketing Teams for region/area of responsibility.
  • Proactively work with external partners to align the adidas brand with the key global influencers
  • Responsible for delivery of the required content/brand and strategic objectives on-time-in-full at key creation, brand activation, Newsroom, and City Attack influencer plans and support
  • Guide designated markets/channels in building category business plans and landing key brand priorities (eg GFR), collaborate with and support key markets/channels with reaching financial targets and KPI's.
  • Develop and drive process improvements where necessary
  • Curate the adidas influencer community and ensure they receive world class service.
  • Manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines to ensure smooth cooperation of all direct reports
  • Lead satisfactory delivery of impactful sell-in and sell-out tools to all markets/channels when Culture Marketing assets are integrated.
  • Lead strategic projects on a cross-functional and /or functional-/category- specific level.
  • Evaluate the key markets/ channels to ensure proper implementation of marketing strategies. Use regular analysis and business relevant information to develop future plans that include Culture Marketing assets for advertising or activation (eg social media, appearances)
  • Manage key markets & non key markets for all accelerator categories for the brand
  • Manage all influencer related topics throughout the development of category/sub brand seasonal plans.

  • Moderate to extensive travel may be required
  • Skill in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Language skills: English, Another European language advantageous
  • Strong understanding of the Entertainment and Trend industry
  • Unconventional business hours may be required (evenings, weekends)
  • Ability to develop innovative strategies
  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Broad understanding of how all facets of marketing can affect consumer motivation
  • Experience in managing teams – within both direct and informal matrix environment
Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent education required
  • 3 years working with key markets or 1 year working in a top tier adidas market
  • 8 years of relevant work experience
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently engage in extensive physical demands. The employee will frequently be required to sit, stand, bend, and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally be required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • We officially returned to office in a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in office and 2 days remote.  The working location of this position is Los Angeles, CA.
  • The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is ($137,000 - $205,600). Actual salary will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, and proficiency for the role.
  • Employees are eligible to earn an annual bonus based on both company and personal performance. Employees accrue prorated flexible time off in the amount .4388 hours per day that increases with years of service, eleven paid holidays throughout the calendar year and Service Time Off during milestone years.
