Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience performing in a data environment, including software, internet, media, or telecoms industries.
- 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP and A).
Preferred qualifications:
- Excellent SQL skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience in a successful executive level business partnership.
- Knowledge of Google Ads or Marketing.
- Experience manipulating datasets, and creating dashboards or models.
- Ability to turn data into actionable insights, be personable yet persistent be a team player; and help other team members as necessary while promoting positive morale.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$154,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Improve and maintain Marketing's business generated data infrastructure and dashboards (e.g., adding dashboard views to provide insights, reflecting business strategy and organization changes in the data structure).
- Lead data-intensive strategic analyses, such as analyzing the lifetime value (LTV) and return on investment (ROI) of specific marketing actions, customers, and geographies.
- Set quarterly and annual business generated goals, and provide regular reporting on progress versus goals for Marketing.
- Play a lead role in understanding business growth, risks, opportunities, and communicating these insights through executive level presentations.
