Graphic Designer (Beauty) Jobs

Our client, a global British skincare brand, is currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join their team in NYC! This role is focused on the creation of various assets for the US region, ensuring that branding standards are met and supporting all retail channels. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for translating US marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences. You Will:

• Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices
• Assist with social media content (like stories and posts)
• Present completed ideas to US team members
• Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the marketing team
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience
• Manage a team of one
• Produce mockups and storyboards to visualize ideas for photoshoots and videoshoots
• Maintain a strong collaborative fluidity in work partnership with the team on a day-to-day basis
• Create badges/icons and onsite assets for GWPs, promotions, and landing pages
• Create 3D assets such as influencer mailer, artworks for secondary packaging (a definite plus)
• Focus on emails, banners, paid media assets and SMS
• Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
• Collaborate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media
• Support US Channel Teams in all sales, activations, and brand awareness initiatives

You Have:

• An understanding and interest of the US beauty market and brand competition
• Expertise in creating 3D printed assets (a bonus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present information clearly and concisely
• Experience within an omnichannel brand – online and offline marketing channels
• Experience on successful cross-functional collaboration
• Beauty experience is a must!
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design with 4+ years of proven working experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• A proactive, “roll-up your sleeves” entrepreneurial attitude, where no task is too small or big, displaying a readiness to take on challenges and explore new opportunities
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail, enabling you to execute projects with precision and efficiency
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience handling the creation of dotcom assets from A to Z, ensuring a smooth and cohesive process
• Exceptional proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat, to create outstanding visuals and assets

Logistics:

• Hours/Week: 40 hours per week
• Laptop/Program Requirements: A laptop will be provided for you
• Reporting to: SVP Marketing
• Duration: Ongoing
• Onsite/offsite: Hybrid T-Th in Manhattan office, no flex here // NYC candidates only
• Salary/Rate: $37-40 per hour PAY
